Fleet compliance reminders for construction vehicles
Construction fleets rarely fail because nobody cares about the vehicles. They fail because the admin is spread across supervisors, subcontractors, depots, paper files and gloveboxes. Fleetkeep gives operators one place to track MOT, road tax, insurance, servicing, maintenance actions, documents and driver guidance before a vehicle being off-road blocks a job.
What construction fleets need to keep visible
- MOT and road tax. Fleetkeep uses official DVSA/DVLA data where available so expiry dates are not buried in a diary or a single inbox.
- Insurance and service dates. Add the renewal and service information DVLA does not hold, then get reminders before the practical booking window closes.
- Vehicle documents. Store insurance, MOT, service, inspection and repair documents against the vehicle so the office can find them when needed.
- Driver guidance. Share approved breakdown information, accident procedures and company vehicle guidance from one driver portal link.
Useful fit for builders, contractors and site teams
Fleetkeep is deliberately lighter than a full construction plant, telematics or HGV compliance system. It is useful where the problem is visibility: which vehicle needs an MOT, which pickup has a service due, which van has an insurance document missing, and what a driver should do after a breakdown or accident.
It is not a replacement for professional maintenance judgement, LOLER/PUWER records, site plant management or operator-licence systems. For those, use the specialist systems and competent people your risk profile requires. Fleetkeep keeps the road vehicle admin in view.

FAQs
Does Fleetkeep track plant and machinery compliance?
No. Fleetkeep is focused on road vehicle admin: MOT, road tax, insurance, service dates, documents, maintenance actions and driver guidance. Plant compliance should stay in the correct specialist system.
Can drivers access breakdown and accident procedures?
Yes. Operators can upload guidance, review extracted contact details and share a driver portal link with approved breakdown, accident and company vehicle information.
Can we import vehicles from a spreadsheet?
Yes. Self-serve fleets can import up to 50 vehicles by CSV, then add the dates and documents Fleetkeep cannot get from DVLA or DVSA.
